Scottish National Scale Model Show
When: 26th - 27th April Where: Perth
The Dewars Centre in Perth plays host to the largest scale model show in Scotland. Attracting modellers from all over the UK and Europe, the show features the competition to find the Junior and Senior model-maker in Scotland, model displays and demonstrations of model-making for all skill levels.

Neptune’s Staircase: Admire the early civil engineering work of Neptune's Staircase, an extensive series of Lochs in the Caledonian Canal connecting Loch Ness to Loch Linnhe. Built between 1805 and 1822, Neptune's Staircase raises the Caledonian Canal 64 feet (19.5m), providing a safer inland route through Scotland from Moray Firth to the Firth of Lorne.
