With fabulous walks from the door, including the River Ayr Way and a huge variety of bird and wildlife including Hen Harriers, Golden Plover, and Short-Eared Owls to be spotted, the nature lover will adore this property. Fishing may also be arranged. With the Championship golf courses of Turnberry, Troon and Prestwick, within easy reach there is plenty to do for the outdoor person.
Despite its rural location Muirkirk and Mauchline have a variety of shops, whilst the Sora Inn combines both a traditional pub and excellent restaurant. The Log House is also within easy reach of the fabulous sandy beaches of Ayrshire. Also in the area are many historical places of interest including the National Trust Property Culzean Castle and Rabbie Burn’s birthplace.
Accommodation: Ground Floor: Drawing room, dining room, kitchen, main wing with 2 double bedrooms, one with en-suite bathroom, 2 twin bedrooms, bathroom, separate wc, separate wing with sitting room/tv room, 2 double bedrooms, 3 twin bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, separate wc, drying/utility room. Two of the twin rooms have bunk beds.
