Activities:
- you can walk for miles across the hills, fish for wild brown trout in hill lochs or simply relax and enjoy the setting, perhaps, catching a glimpse of an eagle or a herd of roe or fallow deer
- for those who wish to explore further afield, Dunkeld has a magnificent Cathedral and National Trust Little Houses, art and music festivals and antique shops.
- There are several golf courses within easy reach including an 18 hole course at Dunkeld, Rosemount at Blairgowrie, Pitlochry and championship golf course at Gleneagles, St Andrews and Carnoustie, less than 1 hours drive.
- Blair Castle, ancient seat of the Dukes of Atholl, Glamis Castle birthplace of the late Queen Mother and Scone Palace, once the crowning place of the Kings of Scotland are all close by
- the fair city of Perth offers excellent shopping and restaurant facilities, a new concert hall, cinema, theatre and leisure pool
