Surrounded by the stunning scenery of Speyside, the house is set back from the road and benefits from a large garden offering peace and seclusion together with outdoor seating / tables and BBQ, tree house and rope swing, where deer, pheasants and red squirrels can be frequently spotted and bird watchers will love the array of species to be seen.

Activities:
- Fishing – the house is minutes from the River Spey, one of the best salmon and Sea trout rivers in Scotland.
- Shooting and Stalking can be arranged locally.
- Skiing and snowboarding – both Aviemore and the Lecht are within easy distance offering between them over 50 km of exciting skiing in breathtaking surroundings.
- Walking – the Speyside way passes by Craigellachie and offers 65miles of stunning scenery to walk through. There are many Munros in the area to challenge the more energetic.
- Malt Whisky Trail – the world famous Macallan and Glenfiddich Distilleries are less than 5 miles of the house, and are just two of many in the Spey Valley renowned for its whisky making.
- Steam train journey - take a journey back in time through beautiful Strathspey and experience the magic of Steam.
- Ballindalloch Castle - a magnificent 16th century castle - home to the Macpherson-Grant family since 1546. Enjoy Audio - Visual presentations, river walks, and see the oldest herd of Aberdeen-Angus cattle
- Funicular Railway – take a trip to the top of the Cairngorm Mountains and enjoys the great fresh air and spectacular views. Walk up the mountain paths or enjoy dining in the Ptarmigan Restaurant – the UK’s highest at 1097m above sea level
- Golf - nearby golf courses include Elgin, Rothes, Dufftown, Lossiemouth and the championship course at Nairn.

Craigellachie has PO, filling station and shop. Highlander Inn for good pub food. Access to Speyside Way. Aberlour will all facilities including swimming pool 2.5 miles
