A simply lovely cottage that has been completely renovated to produce an exceptionally high standard of holiday cottage. The delightful sitting room with its wood burning stove and the newly fitted kitchen/dining room provide the best of modern living but with a character and charm that comes from traditional buildings. The three bedrooms are spacious with pretty views across farmland fields and there is a delightful fully enclosed garden with mature trees, lawn and flowerbeds as well as a patio that is perfect for a morning coffee or evening drink.

This is a beautiful part of Dumfries & Galloway and whilst only 5 minutes from the motorway, it is a haven of peace and quiet. The farm itself is charming and with a fold of Highland cattle, Highland ponies, sheep and chickens it is an idyllic place for children. You can enjoy the lochans and picnic areas on the farm or travel further afield to the Solway Firth, Gretna Green or to the delights of the Galloway parks with wildlife, mountain bike trails and much more.

Williamwood Cottage is a wonderful holiday house and if you have a larger party or want to be near another family then the estate has two further cottages which are equally well presented - Beckhead Cottage and Dairy Cottage.

Flatscreen TV with Freeview channels and DVD player. Fridge with icebox, electric cooker and hob, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave. Garden furniture and BBQ. Complimentary fishing is available with a bag limit of 2 for the week and barbless hooks must be used.
