Newly renovated to the highest standard, Beckhead Cottage has a delightful location on the Williamwood Farm and Estate. The cottage itself is set in its own fully enclosed gardens and the sound of a tumbling burn just beyond the fence is soothing and charming. Williamwood Farm has Highland ponies, Highland cattle, sheep, ducks and hens for you to enjoy and there is both a lochan with picnic area and a loch stocked with trout for you to enjoy (available 2010 rods can be provided).

Inside, this traditional cottage has been transformed into a fresh modern space which still retains great character. The two en suite bedrooms are delightful and the open plan kitchen/dining room offer you the best of modern living. Enjoy the cosy sitting room with its open fire at the end of the day on the farm or exploring the countryside.

There is plenty to do in this area - the Solway Firth is visible from the farm and you are in easy reach of the Galloway Forest Park – one of the best places to stargaze in the UK and recently confirmed as the country's first Dark Sky Park. The bird watching in the area is marvellous with rare species seen both locally and in the wider area. The owners are very happy that you enjoy their farm and animals as much as possible provided care is taken for your own safety.
