Berwickshire has lots to offer the holidaymaker with activities ranging from surfing at nearby Coldingham Bay and to the more leisurely pursuits of golf or fishing on one of the top salmon rivers on offer including the River Tweed. Explore the fabulous countryside by car, bike, on foot or by horse with many wonderful out of the way routes to take, or head to rugged coastline with its secluded bays and picturesque fishing villages. Visit the many historic sites or enjoy a day trip to Edinburgh, which is only an hours drive, and, then, after a hard days sight seeing enjoy a barbeque in this wonderful country cottage’s secluded garden surrounded only by the sound of nature.
