Peace and tranquillity surround this charming little cottage making it the perfect retreat from modern day living.  Situated on the edge of the quaint village of Minto and surrounded by the gently rolling countryside of the Scottish borders, The Stables is a beautifully renovated steading that provides holiday accommodation of the highest standard. The open plan living room is spacious and bright with a well-equipped galley kitchen area, dining area and tasteful décor and furnishings.  There is access out to the most charming private walled garden where climbing plants tumble from the walls and arbour, and guests can enjoy the seclusion from the lovely sunny deck. 

If guests can tear themselves away Townhead Steadings there is lots to enjoy in this area of the Scottish Borders.  World-class fishing is available on the Rivers Tweed and Teviot, and golfers will love the choice of courses in the vicinity including the wonderful Minto Golf Course, renowned for being the friendliest club in the Borders, which is immediately across the road from the cottage.  Guests can enjoy touring the historic border towns famous for their woollen mills, or they can visit Edinburgh only an hour’s drive away.
