Perhaps the most charming and romantic little house we have seen, set in a fairytale glen where birdsong and the tumbling burn are the only sounds. The main house has been home to many famous people including Trollope who wrote of the place “You might travel through all Scotland without finding a more beautifully romantic spot in which to reside” The coach house is set high up above Loch Ness on a small promontory surrounded by magnificent trees and the Dhivach burn.

The house itself is a gem – newly renovated it retains great charm with the original room for coaches now a spacious modern kitchen/dining/sitting room with double height ceiling and a wood burner and huge windows where the old coach house doors are still visible. There is an additional mezzanine level seating area and a small second bedroom with bunks so you can be equally happy here with a family. Outside the original cobbles form a delightful patio/courtyard where you can enjoy the stunning views and sense of tranquillity. The garden surrounds the house and is fully fenced.

If you can tear yourself away from this lovely place then head back down the hill to Loch Ness, visit Glen Affric, considered by many as Scotland’s most beautiful glen or travel on to Inverness where all facilities of a city provide an alternative to the peace and beauty of Dhivach. There are numerous walks and sports in the area and you will never be short of things to do but most of all your memories will be of this divine little coach house set in this gorgeous place.

Open plan Sitting/dining/kitchen with ceiling height windows, woodburning stove and doors to courtyard. Spiral staircase to mezzanine level. Bathroom with bath with shower over, wc and whb. Bunk bedroom, double bedroom with en suite shower room with wc and whb.

Linen and towels provided. Heating, electricity and solid fuel for fire included.

TV with DVD player, CD/cassette player. Washing machine; half sized dishwasher; electric hob and double oven; microwave; fridge.
