Merlin Cottage, although completely private, is attached to Hawkshaw House which can accommodate a further eight guests.
Crieff is ideally situated for touring Scotland with Edinburgh and Glasgow both within an hour’s drive and the Fair City of Perth only 30 minutes drive. Explore the beautiful and rugged scenery of Trossachs or head north to highland Perthshire with its castles, distilleries, hills and woodlands. Walkers of all levels will enjoy the Crieff area with lots of scenic low level walks in addition to the many Munros within easy reach including locally Ben Chonzie. Golfers will also love the area with Gleneagles 15 minutes away and the championship courses at Carnoustie and St Andrews only an hour and a half’s drive. With fishing, shooting, water sports and cycling all available locally this is a wonderful area to enjoy the outdoor life, or enjoy wandering round the bustling town of Crieff with its wide variety of shop and attractions.
